Darwin’s Evolutions has a need for contract editors and layout artists to help bring our products to market.

Opportunities are released as task-specific contracts for individual stories or anthologies.

There is  no cash advance.  Support contracts are paid out of receipts on a project before royalties are released.

Contract values are based on word count.

• Content editing: $35 per 10,000 words
• Copy editing: $25 per 10,000 words
• Layout: $25 per 10,000 words

Beyond the contract value of the work itself, participants in the production of any product receive an equal share of 50% of the proceeds received beyond the earn-out value of the specific property.  The more works you participate in, the larger potential value you can receive over time.

Editing will be done using Microsoft Word.  Acceptance of a potential editor will depend upon validation of the ability to work between versions successfully.

Layout will be done using the latest version of Serif PagePlus.  Darwin’s Evolutions will reimburse contracted layout artists for the purchase price of a single seat of the latest version of PagePlus X5 (value of $99.00) upon receipt of a successfully completed project.
