Art Submissions
Evolutions welcomes contact with artists interested in illustrating stories or allowing us to contract for the use of existing art for covers on our quarterly omnibus editions. We enjoy having art accompany our stories and are happy to function as a means of allowing artists to obtain greater visibility. However, we regret that the funds may not always be available for us to purchase illustrations to accompany our prose releases. Stories that are funded will be listed on our “art needed” page.
When possible, we will offer a flat $25 fee for a black and white or grayscale story illustration. Artists may, at their own discretion, provide color images.
Payment for full-color cover illustrations are negotiated on a case by case basis and depend entirely on the availability of funds to the publication at the time.
As with our prose contracts, all art remains the property of the artist in all cases. We only license the use of the images for our publications and for promotion off of our immediate web sites.
