Hoyt, Sarah, Author
| Bio: | Born and raised in Portugal, Sarah A. Hoyt failed at her early ambition of becoming a cat and, shortly after, her far more reasonable ambition of becoming an angel. Forced to more pedestrian occupations, she decided to become a novelist. Scarcely daunted by marrying an American, moving to the US and changing the language in which she wrote, she eventually attained her ambition. On the way she earned a Masters in Modern Languages and Literatures and visited a good portion of the real world. She now lives in Colorado with her husband, two teen sons and five indoor cats, plus a variety of Not-Our-Cats™ who beg food at the kitchen door. She spends most of her day in unreal worlds but admits the real world is nice for a vacation.
You may have heard of Sarah’s Shifter Series (Draw One in the Dark and Gentleman Takes a Chance), or her Magical British Empire series (Heart of Light, Soul of Fire and Heart and Soul). Maybe you’ve read her acclaimed Shakespearean Fantasy series (Ill Met by Moonlight, All Night Awake and Any Man So Daring) or her collections, Crawling Between Heaven and Earth and Wings. Or perhaps you’ve heard of her Musketeers Mystery series, written as Sarah D’Almeida (Death of a Musketeer, The Musketeer’s Seamstress, The Musketeer’s Apprentice, A Death in Gascony and Dying by the Sword).
